Title: three monkeys on a motorcycle
Fandom: Stargate SG-1. Um. Sort of.
Word Count: 867
Notes: Rated C for Crack? It's definitely a different tack than the last one... Warnings: contains crack, Jumanji references, and Bing Crosby. Also, the carnivorous plants from hell.  Title borrowed from a throwaway line in Jumanji.

Right, so this is the re-post of "know this and be free" - but with footnotes!

By the way, I was - am - absolutely flabbergasted by the response this thing has generated. Never expected it. Ever. Many thanks and prostrations to [livejournal.com profile] synecdochic and [livejournal.com profile] ivorygates for the pimpage.

Title: know this and be free
Fandom: Stargate SG-1. More specifically, [livejournal.com profile] synecdochic's fabulous Broken Wings Stargate SG-1 AU.
Word Count: 676
Notes: So in [livejournal.com profile] synecdochic's 'verse, JD made the observation that in going (and staying, in this AU) in Atlantis, Daniel had chosen to "diminish, and go into the West, and remain Daniel." Which was a pretty cool observation, for a couple of reasons: it was two fandoms for the price of one in what was already a truly awesome fic; and it startled (at two in the morning, dammit) a few plot bunnies from their long hibernation, and apparently jarred loose some mothballed lines of things I'd forgotten I'd ever read.

I wrote it, panicked, sent it off to a few people looking for validation! and reassurance! and basically got pats on the head and "so go post it, you moron" (thanks, [livejournal.com profile] georginasand).

So here goes!
